How can design and technology redefine future governments
In close collaboration with the Municipality of Eindhoven and Dutch Design Week, Design Innovation Group hosted a DDW’14 event on ‘how design and technology redefine our future government.’
All through the evening the theme was presented from three angles, emphasising three different perspectives; In the Political Arena, Prototyping Policy and Redesigning Democracy.
‘In the Political Arena,’ the physical space in which democratic decision making takes place was discussed. In what way does the physical appearance influence conversations and discussions?
Prototyping Policy was about one of the most important working methods of designers: how can we use prototyping in developing policies and policy decision making.
And last but not least Redesigning Democracy was about alternative designs for decision making processes.
