Ruben operates as a spindle between material, man and their manner, looking for ways to illuminate the unexposed by transiting it into the promising. At the Design Academy Eindhoven he learned to value and visualise processes. This helped him to figure out a human centered approach in social, and product design. An approach that is grounded on researching people by taking interest in culture, context and behaviour. He uses gathered insights to create sustainable interventions that ideally improves the wellbeing of its user. Usually it’s either a crazy dance, a silly face or a wild idea that keeps the process fun and helps him to place things in perspective. At DIG he has the opportunity to take creative thinking outside the explored design field.
